Our five Senses
When thinking like scientists we need to use our five senses today we were deciding what was soft and prickly when touched.

A butterfly at last
We have waited for 14 days to meet our butterfly and he chose to emerge at the weekend , after looking high and low to no avail Adwoa later found the butterfly in the library book box, his legs were rather fragile but his wings were beautiful and working well. after taking a good look and some photos we decided to release him, we put him on the swan plant but he was away over the top of the school building, the three caterpillars we put out in the garden on Friday have fared well and are enormous we look forward to them going into their cocoons. Our butterfly helped us learn two words today symmetry and metamorphosis. Butterflies change from being a caterpillar to a butterfly, and they have exactly the same patterns on both wings.
