Some of our parents will  be sharing with us this week about the changes they had make when they moved to NZ. IN Room 2 we represent 12 different countries.

Room 2 was excited to share a birthday party in the last week of term.

Last Week of Term 2 - Puppet Shows

In the last week of Term 2 Room 2 were treated to some puppet show skits by some of the brilliant actors from Room 32.

Beebots in Room 2

 

Room 2 children have been learning about position and direction with Beebots and Constructabots.  They have to program the floor robots by pushing the buttons forwards, backwards, left and right.  By the sixth week children were able to program them to move forwards and do a half or quarter turn.  Some children were able to make them move forwards, turn, then forwards again.  All were keen to try out the race track mat to see how many instructions they could put in the Beebot.
