She came to New Zealand when she was 12 - Ellahzade

People wear special clothes but now young people change what they wear - Raymond
Room 2 had a great time hearing all about living in other countries and how it is different than living in New Zealand.

At Vietnam I can speak Vietnamese then I came to New zealand and I could not speak English. Now i am learning.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you all listened really well to what the parents told you about how they adapted to life in New Zealand. When I came from England, even though the languages are the same, I found out that some words are different – did you know that ‘jandals’ are called ‘flip flops’ in England? Also we never call trousers ‘pants’. ‘Pants’ are undies! From Mrs Robyns
