Communication

This term we are learning about COMMUNICATION and different ways that animals and people communicate. Not many people send snail mail letters these days so in Room 2 we wrote letters to each other put them in an envelope with a stamp on and Mrs Lameta was our postie and delivered them, It was so exciting to open the envelope and see what our friends had sent to us.

We have noticed that this term the trees and leaves are changing colour and it is getting colder. In Week 3 we went outside to experience what it felt like touch the autumn leaves, we gathered a lot of ideas and about the leaves, watch this space to see some of our writing.

Term 2 also meant we finally got to have our book parade it was amazing with the different costumes and books that were shared. Room 2 shared the very grumpy lady bug , Take a look !!!

Happy Mother's day

At the beginning of Term 2 we communicated with our mums to wish them a happy mothers day and made a butterfly to take home with their card

Term 2

Term 2 is well under way and it is going to a quick one with only nine weeks. Our theme this term is communication and we will be looking at how animals communicate and finishing off with effective and appropriate ways that we can communicate. We have two new friends who have joined our class so far this term and they fitted in well. We look forward to sharing more of our learning on our blog this term.
